Position Overview
We are looking for a talented Auto Restoration Technician to join our team. This role focuses on restoring classic cars, trucks, and specialty vehicles, including frame repair, body work, refinishing, and parts replacement. The ideal candidate has a passion for restoration work, an eye for detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality results that bring vehicles back to life.
Responsibilities
- Perform complete or partial restorations of classic and specialty vehicles
- Disassemble, inspect, and restore vehicle frames, suspensions, and body components
- Repair or fabricate parts to original specifications when needed
- Sand, prep, and refinish surfaces for paint and detailing
- Work with electrical, mechanical, and structural systems as part of restoration projects
- Maintain detailed records of progress and communicate project updates to supervisors
- Follow all shop safety policies and maintain an organized workspace
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL a plus
- 3+ years of experience in auto restoration, body repair, or related field
- Strong knowledge of restoration techniques and classic vehicle systems
- Welding, fabrication, and metal shaping skills are required
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics
- Passion for detail-oriented craftsmanship
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL a plus
